Special Features for Intermediate Courses

In order to provide adequate facilities and infrastructure to the students and staff, a separate block has been built exclusively for the Intermediate Section. Classes would be conducted in this block for Intermediate Students from the Academic Year 2005-2006.

  1. Along with regular classes, EAMCET Coaching is also given to both Junior & Senior Intermediate students by our staff consisting of highly competent teachers.

  2. A Month-long BRIDGE COURSE IN COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH is given to all Junior Intermediate students to enable them to gain proficiency in English.

  3. Weekly Tests are conducted for constant and continuous evaluation.

  4. Supervised study hours for slow learners: Timing will be communicated later.

  5. Career Guidance and Student Counselling available.

  6. A weeklong cultural festival - SPANDANA- is organised to bring out the hidden talents of students.

  7. Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular activities like NCC, NSS, Sports & Games are provided for and encouraged for the overall personality development.

  8. Class Lecturer system with effective monitoring of weak students is the hallmark of Andhra Loyola College.

  9. Religious Study for Christian students and Value Education for all others are part of the curriculum.

  10. Regular parents' meetings are conducted.

College Timing
At present, Classes commence from 8:15 a.m. and close at 1:30 p.m. with a 20 minute break between III and IV periods. This schedule enables students to use the afternoons for Remedial classes, EAMCET Coaching, job-oriented certificate courses, coaching for competitive examinations and other career-focussed activities that will be useful for them in future.
